XIO.GG - Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the terms and conditions of membership and use of the integrated services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by XIO (xio.gg, hereinafter referred to as "Company"). The Company offers various digital content, features, apps, and services through the Services.
By agreeing to these Terms, you may sign up for and use the Services.
Article 2 (Effect, Amendment, and Notification of Terms)
- These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Services.
- These Terms take effect when published online on the respective service app or website. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope not violating relevant laws if reasonable reasons arise.
- Amended Terms become effective upon online publication. If the Company revises the Terms concerning important matters such as user rights or obligations, it must notify users at least one month in advance.
- Users will be required to explicitly agree to the revised Terms before continuing to use the Services after any amendments.
Article 3 (Supplementary Rules)
- These Terms apply universally to all services provided by the Company. However, specific services may have separate Terms of Use and conditions, which require user consent.
- Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations.
Article 4 (Definitions)
The definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows:
- Member: A person who accesses the Company's services, agrees to these Terms, and registers as an integrated member to continuously use the Services provided by the Company.
- Non-member: A person who uses the Company's services without signing up as a member.
- ID (Username): An email address selected by the user and approved by the Company to identify the user and allow access to the Services.
- Password: A combination of letters and numbers set by the user for identity verification and protection of personal information.
- Service App: A mobile application provided to members, which includes features such as mileage accumulation and usage, discounts, event participation, customer support, and additional services.
Article 5 (Establishment of Service Agreement)
- Users agree to these Terms by clicking the 'Agree' button during the service application process displayed by the Company.
- The service agreement is established when the Company approves the user's service application.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
- Users register as integrated members by agreeing to these Terms and submitting the required personal information according to the Company's specified format.
- Once registered, users can log in using the same ID and password across all services using the XIO integrated membership system.
- The Company may reject membership applications or revoke membership in the following cases:
- Providing false information during the application process.
- Using another person's email address.
- When real-name verification fails.
- If the applicant is under 14 years old.
- If the applicant is under 16 years old and does not have parental or guardian consent.
- If the application is for fraudulent or commercial purposes.
- If the applicant competes with the Company.
- If the application is deemed harmful to service operation.
- If the application violates laws or public order.
If the Company becomes aware that a user under the age of 13 has registered, the account may be suspended or terminated. Users under the age of 16 may use the Services only with parental or guardian consent and supervision. Upon request by a parent or guardian, the Company may suspend, cancel, or delete the account.
Article 7 (Provision, Modification, and Termination of Services)
The Company provides services under these Terms and may modify or discontinue services in the following cases:
- Maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of service equipment.
- Interruption of telecommunication services by third-party providers.
- National emergencies, power outages, service overloads, or system failures.
- If pre-announced for operational reasons.
- If business transitions, mergers, or service discontinuation occur, the Company will notify users and compensate according to predefined conditions.
Article 8 (Termination of Service Use)
- Users may terminate their service agreement according to the procedures specified in these Terms.
- Upon termination, all user data will be deleted except for information retained as required by law.
- Accumulated mileage will also be forfeited and cannot be restored upon re-registration.
Article 9 (Restrictions on Content for Children and Adolescents)
- XIO is a platform designed for general audiences, offering games that are suitable for all ages.
- If a user creates content that is deemed inappropriate for children and adolescents, XIO reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or delete the corresponding account upon discovery.
Article 10 (Mileage Accumulation)
- The Company may grant mileage points to users for using services, participating in events, or promotional activities.
- Mileage points are available for immediate use and can be checked in the respective service app.
- The accumulation and limit of mileage points may vary per service and are subject to change.
Article 11 (Mileage Usage and Inquiry)
- Users must verify their identity at least once through an authorized agency to use mileage points.
- Mileage points are deducted in order of expiration date.
- Users cannot transfer, lease, or use mileage points as collateral.
Article 12 (Correction, Cancellation, and Expiry of Mileage Points)
- Users must request corrections for mileage errors within seven (7) days of the occurrence. The Company must process corrections within three (3) months if the request is valid.
- Mileage points expire if unused for six (6) months, unless otherwise specified by the Company.
- Mileage expiration notices will be sent at least 7 days in advance via XIO message notification.
- Once used, mileage points cannot be restored, even if a user cancels a purchase.
Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea.
- Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with South Korean law and may be subject to resolution through consumer arbitration bodies before legal proceedings in Seoul Central District Court.
